The Vision

The Learning House Preschool was founded with a simple but meaningful vision: to create a space where young children could learn through play, discovery, and create meaningful relationships. Our approach is rooted in the belief that every child is naturally curious and capable. We view the classroom as a living breathing space that evolves with the children’s interests. Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education, emphasizing exploration, collaboration, and respect for the child’s voice. We believe that learning is not confined to lessons but discovered through everyday experiences. Children learn by doing, by touching, building, questioning, and creating.

Through open-ended materials, sensory exploration, and long-term projects, they learn to think critically, solve problems, and express themselves in many 'languages' — art, movement, storytelling, and play.

We embrace a mixed-age classroom for children ages 2 to 5. This dynamic environment mirrors the natural diversity of a family setting, where younger children learn through observation and older children gain leadership, empathy, and confidence. The shared experiences strengthen social connections and create a genuine sense of community.

Our philosophy is also deeply grounded in partnership with families. We value the trust parents place in us and believe communication and collaboration are essential to a child’s development.
